Don't Call It A Comeback...Yet

So, we stopped blogging for a little while. Not for any real reason, other than I don't have a ton of time anymore to blog and that I'm on the computer from 8-5 for work so it's tough to want to put in extra time on top of that in front of the laptop.
But we miss the writing, the music, and the opportunity to be a little creative, so we're hoping to get back on the proverbial blogging horse... probably not every day... but at least more than once every two months.
So to everyone that's continued to stop by or write to see what's up, thanks for sticking around... but we also invite you to make sure to check out our great list of friends in our blogroll, most of whom are probably a little more attentive and a heck of a lot more into the music scene that us lately.
Weezer set to release sixth studio album in JuneI didn't really have any set time I planned on returning to blogging, but coming back just before Weezer gets set to release their latest studio album, a self titled effort, on June 3rd. We hope you took a few minutes to check out their music video for the single "Pork and Beans" that is littered all over YouTube, which you can check out in our previous post. You can also stream the video over at the Weezer website.
If you really want the inside track to the upcoming Weezer tour you can preorder the album off iTunes. When you preorder the album you'll receive a password to purchase Weezer tickets before the general public, plus a bonus track not found on the regular album.
Stream "Pork and Beans" here.
And a few more Weezer gems to wet your pallet:
Weezer - "Paperface" (from unreleased Kitchen Tapes)
Weezer - "No One Else" (acoustic)
Last but certainly not least...
Today is Memorial Day, and while we're thankful for not having to roll into the office for another 8-5, we're truly thankful for all those that we remember today. If you need a little help remembering, The Los Angeles Times takes us back to Memorial Day, circa 1968.

The new Weezer is simply okay. Rather than being "Bored with Sex" Rivers Cuomo seems to be bored with Weezer.
