Preview from The Acorn's Glory Hope Mountain

Toronto band The Acorn are about to release their second LP, Glory Hope Mountain, in February. Lucky for you we've got a preview track from the upcoming album. This is my first introduction to the band, who released their first full length LP, Pink Ghosts, back in 2004. At first listen I was reminded of Rusted Root.

Hopefully this isn't your first time hearing The Acorn, but if so, sit back, relax, and check out the communally pleasing sounds of their preview track below:

Last but not least for today is NYC band Bloodshot Revival.

This five person group from NYC plays indie rock that's refreshing and in the vein of The Thermals and The Libertines.

You can stream and download three of their tracks at their Myspace page.
