Don't Call it a Comeback

On December 15th, 2005, Veritas Lux Mea retired to the music blogger archives and the northwoods of Wisconsin, and for the past month or so I've enjoyed my daily job searches, various lunches out and catching up with friends and family. Bound by a dial-up internet, Veritas Lux Mea seemed doomed to catch dust in the retired section of my bookmarks, until my parents wised up and got high-speed internet.

Now, armed with a slick cable connection, a month's worth of rest and nothing to do 24-7 until I get a job, Veritas Lux Mea is back and ready for action, ready to join the list of those who dared to say, in the words of B.Real, "I ain't going out like that"; like Michael Jordan, Roger Clemens, Ricky Williams, and Deion Sanders, Veritas Lux Mea once again returns to the field for one more go-around.

Thanks to everyone who said goodbye on the 15th --I hope you're all willing to say hello and find a place for me back in your bookmarks once again.

That being said, it's time to put the women and children to bed and go lookin' for dinner . . .
