Midnight Mustache Ride
Ok, I've got some time to relax since I've sworn off reading any more film criticism or Medieval women's literature until tomorrow. Did anyone besides me catch Letterman's interview with Howard Dean last night? Dave was asking some ball busting questions, way to go Davo. Dean's explanation of his "hiding the salami" quote was classic and can be accessed here. Or here, from Hardball.
News You Can Use
- How to make one million friends on Myspace. Actually, it's pretty easy. Just post the kind of pictures you see below, and you'll have every horny dude and pseudo-bi sexual chick on Myspace instantly wanting to "add you" at the click (or should we say "double click") of their mouse:

- A critical look at Dan Brown's The DaVinci Code.
- Forget the avian flu or SARS, the real epidemic is fear. What's worse is that bloggers are only helping to perpetuate the epidemic of fear, according to the article. "Helping to accelerate bird flu mania is a growing band of flu bloggers -- techno-agitators and armchair epidemiologists who see each new flu report or update as a call to arms, and use their blogs as a medium to inform and scare the daylights out of each other." They should just switch over to posting mp3's and fantasy football stuff; it's much more agreeable on the stomach.
- Head over to EBAY and bid on the opportunity to record live in a Chicago studio with rocker Ted Leo.
- Like crossing the line? Me too. Here's a bunch of offensive religious jokes. Don't tell my Mom, who insists I'm still a Cathoholic.
Stache of the day: The drunken stache
This guy is obviously intoxicated, and from the looks of his lip fur, he might have been drunk when he shaved. In honor of my inaugural mustache post, you should head over to the Thunderbirds are Now! website to check out the stache-loving boys, or download their song below:
