Back to blogging as I recover from yesterday's surgery. Hey, you can't beat a morphine drip for breakfast, right? Thank to everyone who wished me luck and was concerned, it meant a lot.

Mustache of the Day: The Orlando Bloom

Orlando is sporting the French style mustache, but with a little more substance, a little more "oo-la-la" for the ladies. I wonder what his current flame Kate Bosworth thinks of the lip fur, which makes him look like a Zorro-wannabe. Unfortunately, Zorro he is not, as that role has once again been snatched up by Antonio "no no no, too sexy, too sexy" Banderas. Perhaps next time, Pirate Will Turner.

Sports

• It seems only fitting that the same day I move into first place in the Music Blogger fantasy football league, the quarterback I just traded Jamal Lewis for in my money league (Marc Bulger) goes down with an injury. Oh cruel karma.
• And by the way, Albert Pujols is wicked-clutch.

• Do you ever wonder what words you use originated on The Simpsons? I sure do. I guess me calling everyone a "jerkface" isn't so original now.

• Stereogum highlights Kelly Clarkson's declining career, but fails to mention that she is a devil worshipper. Or a Metallica fan. Or a faux-rock star, but I prefer to think the first.
